Stopframe Animation
During the workshop participants will use different stop motion animation techniques such as bringing drawings to life, claymation and making objects appear to move by themselves. Working individually you will develop storyboards, build characters and sets, use sound and take lots of photos. When these photos are played back at 12 or 25 frames per second the characters will magically come to life.
You will then learn how to edit your animation together with sound before burning it onto a DVD to take away with you. This intensive and fun workshop will give you all of the necessary tools and know to start making your own animations and short films. While all of our computers are Mac based, the techniques taught in this Animation workshop are similar to those used on equivalent PC packages.
